RenCast 6405-1 is ideal for prototyping of injection molded or thermo-formed parts. It features low viscosity, minimal air entrapment, and easy mixing. Its cast thickness is limited to 1/2". RenCast 6405-1 produces a tan-colored part and can be easily tinted if desired.

RenCast 6405-1 may be thickened to use as a surface coat using RenCast 6400-1 resin as a third component. Please see the "Procedure for using as a surface coat" bullet in the technical resource box for instructions.

Formula Change Information
Due to discontinuation of a raw material, the RenCast 6405 formulation has changed. Information on this change can be found here. Our testing has found the new version to be functionally identical. Please contact our technical services department for further information or clarification.

Please note: Material may crystallize if exposed to freezing temperatures. Please click here for more information, guidelines and corrective action.

Freeman 2075 Rigid Polyurethane Elastomer may be used as an alternative for RenCast 6405-1.

  • Shipping: Freeman charges standard published UPS/FedEx shipping rates (unless freight is specified). All orders under $25 are subject to a $5 small order fee. International orders are subject to a $250 minimum order.
